Make free Voice & Video Calls from your Browser with Mozilla Hello!

                                  Mozilla has recently added a new feature “Hello” in the beta release of Firefox, that will allow users to make video & audio calls with others directly from their browser.  It’s free and there’s no need to download software, plugins or even create an account. Mozilla has partnered with TokBox, whose OpenTok platform is used to power this new feature
Hello allows you to connect with anyone who has a WebRTC  (Real-Time Communication) enabled browser, such as Firefox, Chrome or Opera.  You simply share a callback link with the person you want to connect with and when they click on the link the call begins.
Users can also sign up for a Firefox account for easier one click calling from Firefox. After signing in, you can initiate or receive direct calls with other Firefox account users, without having to share a callback link first.
                                         
This feature will be rolling out to all Firefox Beta users over the next few weeks. Currently it is for desktop version but hopefully soon it will reach mobile devices.
Mozilla Hello could actually replace the current “Software based” services including Skype, Hangouts and Facetime. These services are troublesome for people having no or limited knowledge of computers & software. On the other hand with Hello, you have to just click a link and start chatting with your friends and family, what else do you need?
